BISBEE'17
It was an honor to be a collaborator in Robert Greene's film Bisbee '17. It documents The Undesirables and our Community facing the 100th anniversary of the Bisbee deportation. Bisbee '17 gave us an opportunity to face and process painful history and work together. It was a powerful conduit of expression for us all.
I am available for QA's with screenings of Bisbee '17.
Past appearances include:
Sundance '18
Cinetopia Ann Arbor '18
ASU Human Rights Film Festival , '19

Highlights of Press Coverage
"Radically combining documentary and narrative elements, Bisbee '17 follows several members of the close-knit community in Bisbee, Arizona, a former mining town, as they commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Bisbee Deportation, when 1,200 immigrant miners were violently taken from their homes by a deputized force, shipped to the desert on cattle cars and left to die. Official Selection, 2018 Sundance Film Festival."
